Torii Honemaru is a Japanese writer, artist, and thinker, and the founder and president of A.R.P.L.A. (Association of Religion, Philosophy, Literature and Art)
Works
2010年から匿名で活動を開始。2020年からは複数名義で、アート、キャラクター、イラスト、デザインを制作するほか、コミュニティの運営や、思想・理論・概念の構築を行っている。
美術：2012年から2013年にかけて、空間演習として《Rhetoric of Space》を制作。2022年から、赤に関する研究《Red》と、エロティシズムや美とその破綻への関心にもとづく研究《Eros》を継続している。2024年から2025年にかけて、五連画《Fish Dream》を制作。
文学：2020年から文学作品を発表。代表作は『ひきこもりの手記』『魚の夢』『剰壊理論』
共同体：2020年、匿名掲示板から参加者を集めて《思想・哲学・文学・芸術の会》を創設。それらを愛するひとたちのための場所・集団・結社として運営している。LINE Open Chat、Discord、Cosense（旧Scrapbox）など複数のプラットフォームをまたいで活動しており、2026年現在、各プラットフォームの合計で5000人以上が参加している。
Torii Honemaru began working anonymously in 2010. Since 2020, he has been active under multiple names, creating art, characters, illustrations, and designs, as well as running communities and developing ideas, theories, and concepts.
Art: Between 2012 and 2013, he created Rhetoric of Space as a spatial exercise. Since 2022, he has been developing Red, an ongoing study of the color red, and Eros, an ongoing study grounded in an interest in eroticism, beauty, and their breakdown. From 2024 to 2025, he created the pentaptych Fish Dream.
Literature: He has published literary works since 2020. His major works include HIKIKOMORI NOTE, FISH DREAM, and JōKAI THEORY.
Community: In 2020, he founded the Association of Religion, Philosophy, Literature and Art (A.R.P.L.A.), gathering its first members from an anonymous online message board. He runs it as a place, a collective, and a society for those who love these pursuits. Its activities span multiple platforms, including LINE Open Chat, Discord, and Cosense (formerly Scrapbox). As of 2026, membership across these platforms totals more than 5,000.
